The Two Fools From Santa Bárbara

In Santa Bárbara, the remote little village tucked away in the crevices of the Andes of Colombia there were no telephones, radios, hotels or restaurants at the beginning of the Twentieth Century. It goes without saying that there was no post office either. To fulfill that need there were two men who rendered their services as conveyers of messages and erran runners. Their stories are told for the first time in this narrative.

NO. 1037 Santa Barbara County Courthouse – The Santa Barbara County Courthouse was constructed in 1929 and is a complex of four buildings occupying an entire city block in downtown Santa Barbara. It was designed by master architect William Mooser in the Spanish Colonial/Moorish Revival style. It is an extraordinary example of its style, with an elaborate array of detail emulating a Spanish castle or fortress.
